Week One

Day 1: Reflecting on the Past
*Isaiah 43:18-19 (NLT)*
"But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am
about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
"
Devotional Thought:
As we begin a new year, it’s important to take time to reflect on the past. Isaiah
43 reminds us that God is doing something new, but we can only embrace it if we
let go of what’s behind. Reflection is not about dwelling on mistakes or regrets—it’s about learning from them, celebrating God’s faithfulness, and stepping forward in hope.
Take a few moments today to thank God for the blessings of the past year and to surrender any disappointments or failures to Him. Invite Him to show you how He
was at work, even in the challenges. As you release the past, open your heart to the new thing God wants to do in your life this year.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness in the past year. Help me to let go of anything holding me back and to trust in the new thing You are doing. Open my heart and mind to see Your work in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one lesson God taught you last year that you can carry forward into this year?
Day 2: Setting Goals with God
*Proverbs 16:3 (NLT)*
"Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
"

Devotional Thought:
Goal-setting is a powerful way to look ahead and align our lives with God’s purpose. But true success comes when we commit our plans to the Lord and seek His guidance. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us that when we dedicate our actions
to Him, He blesses our efforts and leads us in His perfect way.
Today, as you fast and pray, spend time asking God to reveal His desires for your year ahead. Write down a few goals, but invite God into the process. Let Him refine your plans and give you the wisdom to pursue them in alignment with His will.

Prayer:
Lord, I commit this year and my plans to You. Help me to set goals that honor
You and align with Your purpose for my life. Give me wisdom, strength, and
perseverance as I follow Your leading. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one goal you can commit to God this year, and how can you rely on Him to help you achieve it?
Day 3: Walking into the New Year with Faith
*Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT)*
"No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one
thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
"
Devotional Thought:
The start of a new year is an opportunity to move forward in faith, leaving behind what holds us back and pressing on toward God’s calling. Paul’s words in Philippians encourage us to let go of the past—not only failures but also distractions—and to pursue the heavenly prize with focus and determination.
As you fast and pray, ask God to help you step into this year with renewed faith and purpose. Trust Him to guide your steps and to help you stay focused on what truly matters.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for calling me to move forward in faith. Help me to let go of distractions and to press on toward the calling You have for my life. Strengthen me to run this race with endurance and joy. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one step of faith you can take this year to move closer to God’s purpose for your life?
Day 4: God’s Perfect Peace
Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)
"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts
and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
"
Devotional Thought:
Worry can easily creep into our lives, but God invites us to bring every concern to
Him through prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 teaches that when we release our anxieties to God and live in gratitude, He replaces our worry with peace. This peace is not something we can create on our own—it comes directly from Him and guards our
hearts and minds. Today, let fasting and prayer become an exchange: give your worries to God and allow Him to fill you with His perfect peace. Whatever is weighing on your heart,
place it in His hands and trust Him with the outcome.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for the gift of peace that surpasses understanding. Help me to release my worries to You and live in the confidence that You are in control. Guard my heart and mind as I trust in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one worry you can give to God today to experience His peace?
Day 5: Rooted in His love
Ephesians 3:17-19 (NLT)
"Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will
grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to
understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how
deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to
understand fully.
"
Devotional Thought:
God’s love is vast and unending, and as we trust in Him, He plants us firmly in His love, giving us strength and stability. When we are rooted in His love, we are able to withstand the storms of life and remain secure in our faith.
As you fast and pray today, take time to reflect on the depth of God’s love for you. Let this truth fill your heart and mind: you are fully loved, fully known, and fully accepted by Him. Allow His love to be the foundation of your life this year.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for Your amazing love that anchors me and keeps me strong. Help me to trust in You and to grow deeper in my understanding of Your love. Let Your love guide my steps this year. In Your name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What does it mean for your life to be rooted in God’s love this year?
Day 6: A Heart of Gratitude
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NLT)
"Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is
God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
"
Devotional Thought:
Gratitude is a powerful act of worship that shifts our focus from what we lack to
all that God has done. 1 Thessalonians 5 reminds us that joy, prayer, and gratitude are God’s will for us as followers of Jesus. Even in challenging circumstances, we can choose gratitude because God is faithful and His blessings abound.
As you fast and pray, let gratitude flow from your heart. Thank God for His provision, for answered prayers, and for His presence in your life. Gratitude not only honors God but also refreshes your spirit and gives you strength for the journey.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. Help me to cultivate a heart of gratitude, even in difficult moments. Teach me to find joy and contentment in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What are three things you can thank God for today?
Day 7: Walking in Faith
2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT)
"For we live by believing and not by seeing.
"
Devotional Thought:
Faith means trusting God even when you don’t see the full picture. As we journey through life, there are moments when circumstances may seem uncertain, but God calls us to walk by faith, not by sight. He is always at work, even when we cannot see or understand His plan. Today, as you fast and pray, ask God to strengthen your faith. Trust Him to lead
you, provide for you, and work all things for your good. Walking in faith is not always easy, but it is always worth it because God is faithful to keep His promises.

Prayer: Lord, help me to walk by faith and not by sight. Teach me to trust You even when
I don’t see the full picture. Strengthen my faith and remind me of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one step of faith you can take today to trust God more fully?

Week Two

Day 8: Rest for your Soul
Matthew 11:28-30 (NLT)
"Then Jesus said,
‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy
burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.
’"
Devotional Thought:
Life can feel overwhelming, but Jesus invites us to bring our burdens to Him and find rest for our souls. True rest isn’t found in avoiding responsibilities but in trusting Jesus to carry the weight with us. His yoke is easy because He gives us the strength we need for each day. As you fast and pray, take this time to lay down your burdens before Him. Let His peace and rest refresh your heart, and trust Him to provide what you need.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for offering me rest when I feel weary. Help me to trust You with my burdens and rely on Your strength instead of my own. Teach me to walk in step with You. In Your name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What burdens do you need to lay at Jesus’ feet today?
Day 9: A Light in the Darkness
*John 8:12 (NLT)*
"Jesus spoke to the people once more and said,
‘I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.
’"
Devotional Thought:
Jesus is the light of the world, and He promises that when we follow Him, we will never walk in darkness. No matter how uncertain or difficult life may seem, His light guides us and leads us to life.
Today, as you fast and pray, ask God to illuminate any area of your life that feels dark or uncertain. Invite His light to shine, bringing hope, clarity, and direction.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being the light of my life. Shine Your light on any dark areas
in my heart, and guide me in Your truth. Help me to follow You faithfully. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
Where in your life do you need God’s light to bring clarity or hope?
Day 10: His Power in Weakness
*2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NLT)*
"Each time he said,
‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.
’ So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ.
For when I am weak, then I am strong.
"

Devotional Thought:
Our weaknesses often feel like obstacles, but Paul reminds us that they are opportunities for God’s power to work through us. When we rely on God instead of ourselves, His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
As you fast and pray, embrace the areas where you feel inadequate and trust God to show His strength through them. His grace is more than enough for you.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your grace that sustains me in my weakness. Help me to trust in Your power instead of my own strength. Show Your glory through my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
How can you trust God’s power in an area where you feel weak?
Day 11: The Joy of the Lord
*Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)*
"Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!"

Devotional Thought:
Joy isn’t dependent on circumstances—it comes from the Lord and strengthens us for whatever we face. When we choose joy, we are choosing to trust in God’s goodness and faithfulness.
Today, as you fast and pray, focus on cultivating joy. Reflect on God’s blessings and goodness in your life, and let His joy renew your strength.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of joy that strengthens me. Help me to focus on Your goodness and trust in Your faithfulness. Let Your joy fill my heart today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one way you can intentionally choose joy today?
Day 12: God’s Faithfulness
*Lamentations 3:22-23 (NLT)*
"The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his
faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
"

Devotional Thought:
God’s faithfulness is constant and unchanging. No matter what we face, His mercies are new every morning, giving us hope and strength for the day ahead.
As you fast and pray today, take time to thank God for His faithfulness in your life.
Trust that His mercies will meet you each morning as you walk with Him.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and mercy that never fail. Help me to trust You more and live in gratitude for Your unending love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
How has God’s faithfulness been evident in your life?
Day 13: Surrender to God
*Romans 12:1 (NLT)*
"And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God
because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him.
"
Devotional Thought:
Surrendering to God is an act of worship that acknowledges His lordship over our lives. When we offer ourselves fully to Him, He can work in and through us in ways we could never imagine. True surrender brings freedom and purpose.
As you fast and pray today, reflect on areas of your life where you may still be holding back. Choose to give everything to God and trust Him with your whole heart.

Prayer:
Lord, I surrender my life to You. Help me to hold nothing back and to live as a holy and acceptable sacrifice for Your glory. Teach me to worship You through my daily life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one area of your life you need to surrender fully to God?
Day 14: Generosity of Heart
*2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT)*
"You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly
or in response to pressure.
‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.
’"

Devotional Thought:
Generosity isn’t just about money; it’s about living with an open heart and hand.
When we give cheerfully, we reflect God’s generous heart toward us. Generosity is an act of trust, knowing that God is our ultimate provider.
As you fast and pray, ask God to show you how you can live generously—in your time, resources, and love for others. Let generosity flow from a heart filled with gratitude.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being so generous to me. Teach me to reflect Your heart by giving cheerfully and selflessly. Help me to trust in Your provision as I live generously. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
How can you show generosity in your life today?

Week Three

Day 15: Forgiveness Sets You Free
*Ephesians 4:31-32 (NLT)*
"Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all
types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
"

Devotional Thought:
Forgiveness is essential for freedom and healing. Holding onto bitterness and anger only weighs us down, but when we forgive, we reflect Christ’s forgiveness toward us. Forgiveness doesn’t excuse wrongdoing, but it releases us from the burden of resentment.
As you fast and pray, ask God to help you forgive anyone who has hurt you.
Trust Him to heal your heart and lead you to greater freedom in Christ.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for forgiving me through Jesus. Help me to forgive others as You have forgiven me. Release any bitterness in my heart and fill me with Your
peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
Who is God calling you to forgive today?
Day 16: Spiritual Renewal
*Psalm 51:10 (NLT)*
"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.
"
Devotional Thought:
Spiritual renewal begins with a humble heart that seeks God. When we invite Him to cleanse us and renew us, He restores our relationship with Him and gives us the strength to live for His glory.
As you fast and pray, invite God to create a clean heart within you. Let Him renew your spirit and align your heart with His purposes.

Prayer:
Lord, I ask for a clean heart and a renewed spirit. Remove anything in my life that doesn’t honor You and help me to walk closely with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one way you can invite God to renew your heart today?
Day 17: The Armor of God
*Ephesians 6:11 (NLT)*
"Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all
strategies of the devil.
"
Devotional Thought:
As believers, we are in a spiritual battle, but God equips us with His armor to stand firm. By putting on the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit, we can overcome any challenge.
As you fast and pray, ask God to help you stand firm in His strength and to equip you for every battle you face.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for giving me the armor I need to stand firm. Help me to walk in truth, faith, and righteousness, and to rely on Your power to overcome. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Which part of the armor of God do you need to focus on wearing today?
Day 18: Victory in Christ
*Romans 8:37 (NLT)*
"No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who
loved us.
"
Devotional Thought:
Through Christ, we are more than conquerors. No matter what challenges we face, His love gives us victory over sin, fear, and even death. We can walk in confidence, knowing that the battle is already won.
Today, as you fast and pray, celebrate the victory that is already yours in Christ.
Trust Him to lead you through every challenge with His strength and love.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for the victory You have won for me. Help me to walk in confidence, knowing that I am more than a conqueror through Your love. In Your name, amen.

Reflection Question:
How can you live in the victory that Christ has given you today?

*Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)*
"For I know the plans I have for you,
" says the Lord.
"They are plans for good
and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
"
Devotional Thought:
God has a purpose for your life, and His plans are always good. Even when you don’t see the full picture, trust that He is leading you toward a future filled with hope.
As you fast and pray, ask God to reveal His purpose for your life and to help you walk confidently in His plans.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the plans You have for me. Help me to trust Your purpose and to walk in faith as You lead me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one way you can live intentionally in God’s purpose today?
Day 20: The Power of Prayer
*James 5:16 (NLT)*
"The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces
wonderful results.
"
Devotional Thought:
Prayer is a powerful gift that connects us with God and allows us to partner with Him in bringing His will to earth. When we pray earnestly and in faith, God moves in miraculous ways.
As you fast and pray, commit to deepening your prayer life. Trust that your prayers are powerful and effective, and expect God to work through them.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for the gift of prayer. Help me to pray earnestly and in faith, trusting that You hear and answer. Let my prayers align with Your will. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What is one area where you want to see God move through prayer?
Day 21: A Heart of Praise
*Psalm 150:6 (NLT)*
"Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!"

Devotional Thought:
As we conclude this time of fasting and prayer, let praise overflow from your heart. God has been faithful every step of the way, and He is worthy of all our
worship. Praise shifts our focus from ourselves to God and brings joy and freedom.
Spend time today praising God for who He is and for all He has done. Let this be a day of celebration and gratitude for His goodness.

Prayer:
Lord, I praise You for Your goodness, faithfulness, and love. Let my life be a song
of worship to You. Thank You for all You have done during this time of fasting and
prayer. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection Question:
What are you most grateful for as you conclude this time of fasting and prayer?
